If your photographer has experience photographing actors, they should be able to tell you how they see you. Do not be afraid to ask your photographer how they plan on photographing you.
One of the things we talked about earlier was that you and your photographer depend on each other for a good shoot. Every photographer sees qualities they want to catch in their client. You need to decide whether these qualities are things that best express you as an actor. Listen to your photgrapher, they may have some good advise.
One shoot I did consisted of a young woman with a lot of freckles, I suggested that we shoot some photographs highlighting the freckles because they were a sellable attribute.
