The question you need to
ask yourself is, "How long do I need?". Some people prefer to shoot quickly,
they know what works for them. Others prefer to explore in a relaxed environment.
All my shoots last a half
day, so I do not book more than two shoots per day. Other photographers
will spend a good seven hours with an actor. Then there are those photographers
who run a headshot factory, relying on volume to make money. A good question
to ask your photographer is how long their average shoot lasts. This will
give you an opportunity to judge whether or not this photographer will meet
your needs.
