Shooting outdoors can be
a positive experience due to the fresh air, and opportunities for interesting
location shoots. Personally I would rather shoot outside, but there are also
drawbacks which we will discuss.
- Make sure you have a contingency plan
with your photographer because weather will affect your shoot greatly. You
do not want to be shooting in the rain or in 100 degree heat.
- Another potential drawback to shooting
outdoors is the fact that there are generally people watching you during the
shoot. If you need a little privacey during your shoot; outdoors may not
be the right choice for you.
- If having several clothing changes during your shoot is important,
keep in mind that there may not be a dressing room nearby. This is a detail
to work out ahead of time with your photographer.
