Retouching is another expense
that has a tendency to sneak up on actors. Since I am only talking about
budget issues on this page I will go into details about retouching in the
"After the Shoot" section.
Most retouching costs between
$20 and $80 per print, but there are no set rules. Make sure you shop around,
most photographers can generally refer you to someone reputable. Some photographers
may even include this in their price, if so, make sure you see an example
of pictures before retouching, and after retouching.
Remember that the key to
retouching in headshots is to make you look like yourself on your best day,
not to change your appearance.
